University of Malakand Alumni Association (UMAA) aims to be nationally and internationally recognized for its excellence in building a life-long relationship with alumni for cooperation, promotion of the cause of education, and welfare of the University of Malakand family and community.

Alumni Network Mission

The mission of UMAA is to cater to the social, intellectual, and professional needs of all present and future alumni by: working as a bridge between alumni and the university; enabling the alumni to connect for meaningful engagements with the university, share their experiences/success stories; becoming a source of inspiration and guidance for current and future students; and be a forum for meaningful networking opportunities on any stage of their professional journey.

UMAA will attempt to guide, alumni and current students, in issues related to higher education. In this regard, the alumni office will share information about scholarships and other relevant information with the alumni and current students of the Unievrsity for improving their qualification and learning. And, it will also encourage the alumni to share opportunities with each other and as well as with the current students.

One of the main purposes of the association is to help our current students in the form of scholarships, guidance, and counseling, and acquainting them with the current trends and issues. The alumni office expects that the ex-students would share their experiences with the current students, and help in their continuous growth.

The University has a vast alumni network, numbering in thousands, rendering services at the national or international level for the sake of humanity, and bring good name to the country as well as to their Alma Mater. The University is proud of the services of its alumni; they are our ambassadors. The association expects that the alumni would keep on their good work for the betterment of the University.

The association will strive to do whatever it can for the community. People of the community are the main stakeholders, our efforts for building the community would strengthen the bond between the University and the community. Ultimately, it helps both the University and the community. We hope that our alumni would add value to the lives of others, and inform the University about their services for the community.
